Phil McConnell the Traditional Highland been playing the Highland Bagpipes for over 40 years; As a member of the Royal Artillery Army Pipe Band Liverpool, he has played on Horse Guards Parade and over the years he has been a member of the Clan McLeod Pipe Band, Chorley Pipe Band At present he is a member of the Warrington Pipe Band.

Phil McConnell the Traditional Highland Bagpiper has competed at the World Pipe Band Championships, the British and Scottish Championships and along with 1,000 other pipers, played at the opening of the 1986 Commonwealth Games held in Edinburgh.
